Germany and the United Kingdom announce the winning bids for funding of the NAMA Facility

Germany and the UK have announced their financial support for climate protection projects to be implemented in Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica and Indonesia.

Technical Support Unit of NAMA Facility started work

The Technical Support Unit (TSU) of the NAMA Facility started its work at the end of June 2013. The TSU is comprised of staff from KfW Development Bank and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. Those two bodies are commissioned by the NAMA Facility Board to implement the NAMA Facility.

NAMA Facility’s website is launched. The NAMA Facility is glad to announce the launch of its website today. Through this website, the NAMA Facility will from now on provide simplified access to all relevant information and documents and offer comprehensive information on its activities.

The First Call for NAMA Support Projects of the NAMA Facility

The first call for NAMA Support Projects was launched in July 2013 and ended on 2 September 2013. During the first call, 47 NAMA Support Project Outlines were received. As regards geographical distribution, projects are spread evenly across Africa, Asia and Latin America.
