Extended information on 42 NAMA Support Project Outlines received in the 3rd Call of the NAMA Facility

Between 20 April and 15 July, National Governments and Delivery Organisations, were invited to submit NAMA Support Project Outlines to the NAMA Facility. The 3rd Call for NAMA Support Project Outlines is made possible due to a joint contribution of additional funding of up to EUR 85 million by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB), the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), the Danish Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Climate (EFKM) and the European Commission.

Third call for NAMA Support Project Outlines closed

The Third Call for NAMA Support Project Outlines of the NAMA Facility closed on 15 July 2015. NAMA Support Project Outlines received are currently evaluated with regard to their eligibility, ambition and feasibility.

Pre-Announcement: Third call for NAMA Support Project Outlines will open in April 2015

Germany, the UK, Denmark and the European Commission intend to jointly provide additional funding of up to EUR 85 million to support the implementation of NAMAs.

Second call: Germany and the United Kingdom announce four bids pre-approved for funding from the NAMA Facility’s second call for projects

During a press conference held at COP 20 in Lima, the German Environment Secretary of State Jochen Flasbarth and the UK Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change Edward Davey announced they had pre-approved four projects from Burkina Faso, Peru, Tajikistan and Thailand for funding as a result of the NAMA Facility’s transparent and competitive selection process.
