Planning and Coordination Meeting SUTRI NAMA & INDOBUS

On 23 July 2018, the NAMA Support Project (NSP) Sustainable Urban Transport Programme Indonesia (SUTRI NAMA) and its project component Indonesian Bus Rapid Transit Corridor Development Project (INDOBUS), together with the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation (MoT), organized a planning and coordination meeting to share the project’s Plan of Operation (PoO) and collect feedback from other relevant ministries regarding the implementation of these projects.

Selection of Demonstration Municipalities for China IWM NAMA Project Successfully Accomplished

On 11 July 2018, the China Integrated Waste Management (IWM) NAMA Support Project, together with its Chinese partner, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MoHURD), organized a technical review meeting to both evaluate applications submitted by Chinese cities during the last two months and select the project’s demonstration municipalities where IWM would be implemented.

NAMA Facility Funding approved to support the implementation of the Thai Rice NAMA

The German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU); the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS); the Danish Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Climate (EFKM) and the European Commission have approved funding to support the implementation of an ambitious NAMA in Thailand.

Recap: Third Virtual Meeting for NAMA Support Projects

On Thursday May 17th, the NAMA Facility held its third Virtual Meeting for NAMA Support Projects (NSPs), which brought together the Technical Support Unit (TSU) and NSPs from the NAMA Facility’s portfolio. The virtual meeting provided a space for the TSU to directly share information regarding both the 5th Call and the M&E Framework with NSPs.
