NAMA Facility – What is it all about?

In 2012, the NAMA Facility was jointly established by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) and the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) to provide financial support to developing countries and emerging economies that show leadership on tackling climate change and that want to implement transformational country-led NAMAs within the existing global mitigation architecture in the short term.
